Construction
Hall Construction is the largest Division within the Hall Group.The experience and expertise of the Construction team spans across all sectors such that new build, design and build and refurbishment schemes can all be undertaken with equal confidence.
The preferred value of schemes to be carried out by this Division is between £500k up to £8m depending on the particular contract circumstances.
We have valuable experience of working within single contract partnered schemes and longer term framework partnerships, and we employ the partnering ethos and principles whatever the chosen delivery route.
We understand the key drivers of Value for Money, Quality of Construction and Timely Delivery all carried out within a safe working environment and our systems and management structures are geared to successfully ensure these happen.
We hold the ISO 9001:2000 accreditation and operate within externally audited systems designed to achieve continual improvement.
We work with new customers and many existing customers who regularly describe Halls as "easy to do business with", A considerable volume of business is from repeat clients.
We carry out works in the following sectors:
- Education:
Works are undertaken across our locality for Local Authorities and other Educational Bodies, Schools, Universities and Colleges.

- Health:
We undertake new build and refurbishment works at many of the local hospitals in and around Hull, The East Riding and North Lincolnshire.
- Residential, New Build and Refurbishment:
We undertake the construction of new residential works for developers, private clients and one of the largest house-builders in the country. We also carry out refurbishment of listed and sensitive sites where occupants sometimes remain on site. We also have considerable experience of carrying out works under the Government's "Decent Homes" banner.

- Office / Commercial:
We have carried out many schemes delivering high quality office buildings and developments for private and Local Authority clients.

- Prison / Government Works:
We have a track record of working in many of the local prisons involved in carrying out both new build and / or extensions / refurbishment of the facilities.

- Industrial:
We also deliver works for clients requiring factories / warehouses or any sort of industrial building to be constructed / extended / altered or refurbished.

- Retail:
Whilst not a mainstay of our business, we have carried out a considerable number of supermarket fit-out schemes working with a major national contractor as part of a supermarket brand change across Northern England.
- Leisure:
We have a record of carrying out Community and Sports facilities including sports halls and bowling centres.

- Working with National Contractors:
We have a successful record of working with some of the largest national contractors in the business. We have worked with Carillion, Wates and Barratt in and beyond our area offering them solutions to solve their particular contract requirements. We have also worked closely with May Gurney in bidding for a local BSF and see collaborative working as a future way forward.
